PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday after a "neighbor dispute" led to a shooting at a mobile home in Pinellas County.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a mobile home on 78th Street North for a shooting investigation around 4 a.m., leading to a large law enforcement presence in the area for hours.

Deputies said an adult was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who was not identified, is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

News Channel 8 cameras were rolling when a man was taken out of the home in handcuffs. It is not currently known if he was arrested in connection to the shooting investigation.

No other details were immediately available.

"I was not surprised at all," said neighbor Chelsea Allen.

Neighbors told 8 On Your Side this is not the first time law enforcement has been in the area.

"I think," Allen said. "Over here we saw some police presence not too long ago."

Allen said he's lived in the neighborhood for the better part of two decades.

"It's always crazy," Allen said. "It just makes me wish people would solve their problems better."

The sheriff's office said the investigation was ongoing.
